Emrys loves to tumble with his gymnastics team and envisions himself as a quarterback or linebacker in the NFL someday. He swims his fastest in relays when his team is depending on him. On horseback, he loves to lope and then see how far he can get the horse to slide. On the ski slopes, finding small bumps from which to go airborne is a great treat for Emrys. He enjoys both modern and jazz dance. Although Emrys enjoys playing piano, he sees it primarily as his route to eventually playing guitar on stage. Sharing the role alongside his twin brother, Aegis, he has twice played “Tiny Tim” in his State Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol. Emrys enjoyed playing a cool little kid in “The Date”, a student short film. Emrys has Chinese language lessons twice per week, a skill that may be useful in his future travels as an active home-schooler. Traveling provides opportunities for Emrys to find new friends, young and old, with whom he loves to chat.
