Shane Beckham

Shane's background is in theater; from a
young age he has been involved in all aspects of theater
production. This
is where he learned to develop his skills for set design. His talent
for this art presented Shane the opportunity to work in
television. It was with Pax Television that
he first had the opportunity to work behind the camera. This
opened a whole new world of art production that Shane has
truly learned to love. With his newly gained skills,
Shane set out to work on the set of Jeepers Creepers,
a record-breaking film produced by Francis Ford Coppola.
Most
recently, Shane has been working in the advertising field. He
has joined the production teams of Plum
Productions and Planet Film. His work
can be seen in national spots with Chevrolet and Wrigley's. While
Shane continues to work professionally, his love and devotion
remain with independent film, which he feels reveals "the
heartbeat of a community in its truest form.” For
this reason, Shane created the Gainesville Underground
Film Festival, an annual event that highlights independent
film in Florida. It is Shane's love for film that brought
him to work on Little Men. |
